hello.

Thank you so much for stopping by to find out a bit about me. I started my journey for photography way back in the 90's on My hot pink Vivitar 110 manual advance camera. I would set up neighbor kids or pets up with little props and take pictures of them. I always kinda had some deep down desire to play with cameras. Fast forward to 2010 while studying graphic design we were required to take photography as well as numerous art classes. I did not have the means to get a digital camera at the time so I took film, using my Dad's camera from the 1970's . That was a wrap. The day I got into that dark room, and developing my own photographs my soul was hooked. I ended up taking a few more digital photography classes before graduating in 2012. After I graduated I decided graphic design was not for me because you are too restricted in your art, and having to create what someone else tells you to instead of putting your free flowing creativity to use. I decided photography was my thing and after trying many different areas of photography-- weddings, families, newborns, senior portraits I've decided there are no better subjects to photograph than newborns!

I am first and foremost a Mommy to two beautiful humans, annnnd a fur baby. I love to laugh and sing and be silly as often as I can. I love doing outdoor things such as hiking and camping. I love taking my pup to the park and sitting down to just people watch. I am a coffee junkie, especially when it comes to Starbucks. I love 90's pop music, and my guilty pleasure is TLC Reality Tv. I love drawing and I wish I had more time to do it. Greys Anatomy might be my all time favorite show, next to Shameless and Game of Thrones. I absolutely love meeting new families on this amazing journey and snuggling their babies-- Ive been known to be called The baby whisperer. I love all things love and daydreaming... but most of all creating images for all my clients that they can cherish for many years to come. knowing my work is hanging in their house just absolutely excites me !
